Geoff, a person living with throat cancer and unable to speak, had a positive experience in using the National Relay Service (NRS) for an emergency. The quick and efficient service provided when he had a fall at home, resulting as a severe cut on his head supported him in his emergency. Although Geoff ended up with a black eye and six stiches after the fall, having never used the NRS in an emergency he was so thankful for the invaluable service. Describing the experience as having gone like clockwork - swinging into action to ensure he was supported and not resulting in worse injuries.

We are all delighted at the NRS to hear from Geoff that he is recovering after the fall, and we hope to hear he has made a full recovery soon.
